Russian billionaire and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich lost yacht in Poker
According to a report of a popular daily Russian newspaper the Russian billionaire and Chelsea owner lost one of his yachts in a poker game. The popular daily Moskovsky Komsomelets claims the oligarch wagered the yacht, which was worth 500'000 Dollars, while playing poker in Barcelona, which he was visiting to watch Chelsea in action.
Abramovitch is said to own a yacht collection worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Abramovich spokesman John Mann however denied Abramovitch was at all in Barcelona and so even more denied the whole story: "The story is absolutely, completely, entirely false."
Pursuant to the same Russian newspaper, Abramovitch's poker habit should have also been the reason for constant disputes with his girlfriend Daria Zhukova.
