The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has just officially released the schedule for 2010 season and it looks like there are some amazing new tournaments that include a $50,000 buy-in Players Championship that will play out in an eight game format. This will be recognized as one of the most expensive events that have ever been played and probably one of the most exciting.

Now in it’s 41st year this event will actually award the Chip Reese Memorial Trophy to the winner of this intense tourney that includes games such as the main No Limit Texas Hold Em, Omaha High-Low, Split-8 or better, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Razz, Pot Limit Omaha, 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball and Seven Card Stud High-Low Split-8 or Better.

The  tournament’s final table will conclude with No Limit Hold Em and will be televised worldwide by ESPN, but you can bet that many of the world’s elite pokers players will be playing for a spot in this spectacular event in order to win a jackpot that will prove to be one of the most prestigious the WSOP has to offer.

With over 57 WSOP bracelets to be awarded this year, and with the huge audiences that the poker world is now seeing throughout the world, this year is bound to be one of the most exciting years for the players and the people that follow the successes of their favorite players.
