The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) came to an end on January 13 after 10 days of non-stop high-stakes poker tournament action across 50 events. Held at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the seventh annual event produced some fantastic action and created some new millionaires.

The $10,000 PCA Main Event was won on January 11 by Harrison Gimbel. At 19 years old, the player from the United States was the youngest ever winner of the event. He beat Ty Reiman to take home the first prize of $2.2 million.

The total prize pool for the event was $14,831,300, which came from the buy-ins of 1,529 eager competitors from a massive 57 countries. Gimbel is so young that he cannot legally play in the United States, and instead he had to wait until he was in the Bahamas to qualify for the event.

Following the PCA Main Event, William Reynolds, a 21 year old from Iowa, became the High Roller champion. 84 players entered the event, which ended up with a prize pool of $2,058,000. Reynolds triumphed to take home $576,240 by beating Will Molson from Canada in heads-up play. After winning he said: "I feel ecstatic. It was the most rollercoaster of a ride I've ever been on. I was all-in so many times on Day 3, I thought I would be the final table bubble."
