Everest Poker provides $100,000 sponsorship to 10 players
Everest Poker has awarded 10 of its most promising players with a fantastic contract worth $100,000 each. The huge prize for the 10 lucky players was given out after the final of the ‘Live The Dream' event, which was held at Palais Auersperg in Vienna on January 9 and 10, 2010. This was the second year that the promotion had been held.
All of the 10 winning players are members of the Everest Poker community. They managed to beat off competition from a pool of 200 players. These 200 qualified for the two-day event after taking part in online qualifications held from September to December 2009, where over 50,000 players took part.
The 200 players had to convince a panel of judges that they were not only the most gifted online and live poker players competing, but that they were also the most worthy of being ambassadors for Everest Poker. The judges were comprised of poker pros and members of the press.
The 10 winning players will now represent the poker site at the biggest tournaments in the world throughout 2010. The biggest event will be the WSOP Main Event. Included in the winning package is $30,000 in travel expenses. More details of all the winners can be found at Everest Poker.
