Ignorant Hand- In Texas Hold 'em, a low end straight or a straight that is very likely to be defeated by a higher straight.

Immortal- The best possible hand that can not be defeated.

Implied odds- The amount you are likely to win on a certain hand divided by the amount you must invest in order to stay in the game.

Improve- To better one's hand.

Inside straight- Holding four cards with the potential of a straight, but lacking one card (a hole). For instance, having 5-6-8-9 lacking any 7.

In the money- To reach a position in a poker tournament that guarantees payout (typically, one of the top three).

'I Wait'- Means a player wants to check.
