Machine man- A crooked poker player who employs a machine for cheating purposes.

Main pot- That part of the pot all-in players are entitled to compete for (as opposed to side pot).

Major league game- A game featuring very high stakes.

Make- Nab the specific hand a player is seeking to end up with.

Management- The card room operators.

Maniac- A poker player who bets and raises without taking into consideration the strength of his hand.

Mark- To put any identification mark on a card (whether on the front of the card or on its back).

Mechanic- A player who manipulates the cards to his advantage. Simply put, a cheater.

Middle position- Players who are fourth, fifth or sixth to make a move at a poker table.

Milk- A through deck shuffling method. The dealer continuously pulls out bottom and top cards so as to mix the deck.

Minnow- A player who enters games he can't afford in terms of funds.

Miscall- Announce out loud that you hand is stronger than it actually is. Sometimes such a misleading announcement might lead to punishment, especial if it comes at showdown time.

Money management- Keeping close track of your gaming funds. Meaning, play carefully enough so as to minimize losses and maximize wins. Good money management would be quitting the game when getting stuck.

Monkey- A victim of a cheater (one who probably has no idea that he is being cheated).

Move all in- Bet on all player's chips in a single hand.

Muck- Fold one's hand. The term typically refers to a situation in which one's hand is weaker that somebody else's at the showdown.

Multiway pot- A pot with at least three players in it.
