Game Selection
The options at Everest Poker are Holdem or Omaha. Both versions are offered in No Limit/Pot Limit and Fix Limit. You are also able to play for real money and free play, however, Everest also lets players put their summit points on the line in games. There are Sit & Go, as well as scheduled tournaments so you can play for big cash now, or see what is coming up down the line. The interface itself is also very easy and clear and updates with almost unbelieveable speed.
The rake charged is 4%. The competition is pretty loose and the room is known as a good place for pros to try and make money. Everest Poker appeals to new poker players because it has a training room specifically designed to help them as well. They generally have many tables to choose from at any given time.

Everest Poker was launched in 2005 and operates under its own network. It offers play and support for 16 languages including Japanese, Hebrew, Noreigan, French and more. Although it only offers two games currently (with plans to add 7-card stud in the near future), its software is fun and fast. Nearing its 5th anniversary the site has come a long way and is worth a visit thanks to a combination of great freeroll and live tournament opportunities.
We really enjoyed the site's custom interface and although the options may not be as plentiful as some of the other poker networks, it runs smoothly and we didnt suffer any issues while playing. We also enjoyed the ability to customize our room (try the Japanese style room) and the very clear indicators which provided game and tournament type information such as if there was rebuy etc. With a $100,000 weekly tournament and the chance to win seats at live tables, Everest may be young and simple, but there is ample opportunity for big wins.
